The Masconomet Regional Chieftains basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies to 49 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beverly for a Northeastern - Large contest on Tuesday, January 30. Masconomet Regional will meet a Panthers team coming off a 50-45 league loss to Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.

The Reggies (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA). The Crusaders enter the Commonwealth - Upper contest with a 5-7 record.
