Virginia High School Basketball - Gretna can't hold off Parry McCluer

The Parry McCluer Fighting Blues basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Gretna Hawks to 65 in the Fighting Blues non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Blues now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath County for a Pioneer contest on Tuesday, January 30. Parry McCluer will play a Chargers squad coming off a 64-63 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 9-9.
Next up, the Hawks play the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Gretna will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
