In Saturday's non-league outing, the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) basketball squad nipped the host Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ), by a margin of 57-55.
The Fords (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Cougars go into the Central outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Springfield got by Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA), 48-43, in a league outing.
The Red Raiders now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Shipley for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5.
