Georgia High School Basketball - Jefferson County thwarts Johnson County

The Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) basketball knocked off the host Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 65-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Warriors (4-14) will now prepare for their test against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons go into the A D1 Region 2 test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, East Laurens went down by Dodge County (Eastman, GA), 76-60, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Georgia Military College for a A D2 Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 30. Johnson County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-23 non-league loss to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-17.
