Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Leipsic Vikings (Leipsic, OH), 57-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kalida upgrades its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ottoville (Ottoville, OH) to play the Big Green in a Putnam County bout on Friday, February 2. The Big Green come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Ottoville won 62-57 in their recent league bout against Fort Jennings (Fort Jennings, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the McComb Panthers (McComb, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Leipsic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 67-44 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, OH).
