The Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Valley Tigers to 43 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wahlert for a Mississippi Valley contest on Monday, January 29. Kennedy will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-9.

The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Ankeny was defeated by Northwest (Waukee, IA), 62-49, in a non-league contest.
