In Saturday's non-league outing, the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), by a margin of 85-51.
The Bearcats (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Bruins go into the District 28 outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Ballard was trounced by Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY), 67-64, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Taylor County for a District 20 outing on Friday, February 2. Marion County will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-11.
