The King/Drew Golden Eagles basketball team (Los Angeles, CA), dropped 70-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA)
The Spartans now possess a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Gabriel Academy for a San Joaquin battle on Monday, January 29. Orangewood Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 14-9.
The Golden Eagles (13-9) will now prepare for their battle against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Minutemen come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Maranatha dropped by Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA), 63-48, in a league battle.
