York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 64-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, York upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Dukes travel to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a West Suburban - Silver bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Glenbard West won 61-33 in their recent league bout against Proviso West (Hillside, IL)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lake Zurich will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 67-59 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
