In Saturday's league outing, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), by a margin of 67-29.

The Mustangs (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats go into the Northwestern outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Warren County was trounced by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 80-49, in a league outing.

The Eagles now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Millbrook for a Northwestern outing on Tuesday, January 30. Liberty will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 60-53 league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-11.
