Mississippi High School Basketball - Madison Central topped by Power Center Academy

The Madison Central Jaguars basketball team (Madison, MS), dropped 61-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Power Center Academy Knights (Memphis, TN)

The Knights now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a 3A District 16 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Power Center Academy will battle a Golden Wildcats team coming off a 70-67 non-league win over Hamilton (Memphis, TN). The Golden Wildcats record now stands at 17-6.

The Jaguars (18-9) will now prepare for their battle against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Golden Wave come into the 7A Region 2 battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Tupelo prevailed over Murrah (Jackson, MS), 54-49, in a league battle.
