The Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), 55-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Grayhounds go into the Southeast test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Burlington went down by Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA), 72-46, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Trinity Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Mediapolis will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 69-22 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-5.
