The Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) basketball nipped the visiting New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen (Circleville, OH), 59-57 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Titans (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Lucasville, OH). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Valley was tipped by Minford (Minford, OH), 71-44, in a league test.

The Statesmen now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Fairfield Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. New Hope Christian Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 74-65 league loss to Fisher Catholic (Lancaster, OH). The Knights record now stands at 4-11.
