Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK), 53-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palmer upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Moose travel to Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK) to play the Lions in a 4A Northern Lights bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-9.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Ninilchik will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 79-42 league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK).
