The Powers Lake/Burke Central basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Surrey Mustangs to 43 in the non-league victory on Saturday.
The now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White Shield for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2.
The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon (Harvey, ND). The Hornets come into the B District 8 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon prevailed over Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND), 54-41, in a non-league contest.
