Michigan High School Basketball - Romulus can't hold off Saginaw

The Saginaw Trojans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Romulus Eagles to 57 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a Saginaw Valley contest on Friday, February 2. Saginaw will battle a Oilers team coming off a 78-63 league loss to Davison (Davison, MI). The Oilers record now stands at 7-6.
The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Wayne contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Thurston was nudged by Robichaud (Dearborn Heights, MI), 69-62, in a league contest.
