In their next game, the Eagles face the Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) in a San Joaquin game, on Monday, January 29. San Gabriel Academy will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 11-14 record after their 70-60 non-league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Takoma Academy moves to 11-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lanham Christian (Lanham, MD) to face the Lions in a Maryland Independent League test on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions go into the test with a record of 15-3.
