The Sweet Grass County Sheepherders basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Shields Valley Rebels to 50 in the Sheepherders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Sheepherders now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park City for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2.

The Rebels (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet (Joliet, MT). The J Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Joliet triumphed over Colstrip (Colstrip, MT), 73-46, in a non-league contest.
