The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), 65-63 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds (24-8) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Timberwolves go into the 2A Region 2 test with a 21-5 record.
The Bobcats now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Cave City for a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 30. Walnut Ridge will encounter a Cavemen squad coming off a 70-54 league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 10-13.
