The Springs Valley Blackhawks routed the visiting Tell City Marksmen basketball team by a final score of 71-49 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Blackhawks face the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 3. Springs Valley will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 10-7 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Christian Academy (New Albany, IN).

With the defeat, Tell City moves to 1-17 on the year. The Marksmen host Cannelton (Cannelton, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, February 1.
