Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), 62-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Rebels host Woodbine (Woodbine, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Falcons play the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. St. Albert will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 70-35 non-league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA).
