Union Farmers (Union, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Caldwell Tech Eagles (West Caldwell, NJ), 70-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Farmers host Middletown North (Middletown, NJ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Middletown North lost 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Science Park Chargers (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - Independence bout, on Tuesday, January 30. West Caldwell Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 61-42 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ).
