California High School Basketball - Helix can't hold off Mater Dei Catholic

The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Helix Highlanders to 38 in the Crusaders league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ysidro for a contest on Friday, February 2.

The Highlanders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry nudged Clairemont (San Diego, CA), 52-21, in a league contest.
