Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI), 64-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Shea upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Johnston lost 49-46 in their recent non-league bout against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. North Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
