Abundant Life Owls (North Little Rock, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles (Mountain Home, AR), 53-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Abundant Life upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Owls host Arkansas Christian Academy (Bryant, AR) to play the Knights in a Heartland Christian bout on Monday, January 29. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Arkansas Christian Academy won 49-38 in their recent league bout against Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 6. Mountain Home Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
