In Saturday's non-league outing, the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) basketball squad edged the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH), by a count of 39-36.
The Aviators (5-13) will now prepare for their outing against Marlington (Alliance, OH). The Dukes go into the Eastern Buckeye outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Marlington held off Louisville (Louisville, OH), 51-49, in a non-league outing.
