In Saturday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) basketball squad beat the host Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), by a count of 62-48.
The Knights (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against SPIRE Institute (Geneva, OH). The SPIRE go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, SPIRE Institute defeated Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA), 58-50, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Rogers for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29. Springfield will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 66-61 non-league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.
