The Bartlett Hawks basketball team (Bartlett, IL), was nudged 55-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL)
The Mustangs now possess a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard North for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Metea Valley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 43-36 non-league loss to Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-22.
The Hawks (12-15) will now prepare for their battle against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Streamwood edged Aurora East (Aurora, IL), 56-32, in a league battle.
