Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles (Wichita, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars (Shawnee Mission, KS), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Carroll upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to East (Wichita, KS) to play the Aces in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Aces come into the bout with a record of 5-7. East lost 70-57 in their recent non-league bout against Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS)

Next up, the Cougars play the Shawnee Mission South Raiders (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Shawnee Mission Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
