The Bloomfield Bengals basketball team (Bloomfield, NJ), dropped 59-43 in Saturday's league battle with the host Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ)

The Blue Devils now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Ridge for a Super Essex - Liberty battle on Tuesday, January 30. Central will battle a Ridgers team coming off a 42-40 league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 12-2.

The Bengals (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record.
