The Brearley Bears basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting St. Dominic Academy Blue Devils to 31 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Brearley will face a Farmers team coming off a 37-9 non-league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Farmers record now stands at 5-11.

With the defeat, St. Dominic Academy moves to 7-9 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ) to face the Bees in a Hudson County - American match on Tuesday, January 30. The Bees enter the match with a record of 13-3. Bayonne lost 35-27 in their recent non-league match against West Orange (West Orange, NJ)
