The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers to 40 in the Braves non-league victory on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sisseton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Britton-Hecla will battle a Redmen team coming off a 75-61 non-league win over Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 12-0.

The Tigers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND). The Warbirds come into the B District 1 contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood dropped by Oakes (Oakes, ND), 45-40, in a league contest.
