The Butler Bears (Louisville, KY) basketball nipped the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY), 61-58 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart got by Simon Kenton (Independence, KY), 66-46, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 20-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paris for a District 40 test on Wednesday, January 31.
