The Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) basketball nipped the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), 44-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Daviess County got by Union County (Morganfield, KY), 63-27, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Hopkins County Central for a District 7 test on Monday, January 29. Caldwell County will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 58-7 league win over Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Storm record now stands at 11-9.
