Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oologah Mustangs (Oologah, OK) and the visiting Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), saw Oologah's basketball squad overcome Caney Valley by a tally of 46-34.

With the victory, Oologah improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Miami (Miami, OK) to confront the Wardogs in a Verdigris Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Wardogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Miami lost 45-16 in their recent league challenge against Verdigris (Claremore, OK)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK) in a Northeast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Caney Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 49-26 league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, OK).
