The DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets basketball team (Denver, CO), was overwhelmed 53-15 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO)
The Farmers now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen for a 5A/4A Jeffco battle on Wednesday, January 31. Wheat Ridge will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-44 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
The Hornets (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Adams City (Commerce City, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Adams City trounced DSST: Green Valley Ranch (Denver, CO), 56-22, in a non-league battle.
