The Dunbar Poets basketball team (Baltimore, MD), was overwhelmed 59-20 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Dunbar Crimson Tide (Washington, DC)
The Crimson Tide now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banneker for a DCSAA battle on Monday, January 29. Dunbar will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.
The Poets (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Western (Baltimore, MD). The come into the Baltimore City I battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Western trounced St. Timothy's (Stevenson, MD), 35-28, in a non-league battle.
