The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Kadoka Kougars to 33 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lennox for a A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Elk Point-Jefferson will battle a Orioles team coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Orioles record now stands at 10-3.

The Kougars (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Philip (Philip, SD). The Scotties come into the B Region 7 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Philip triumphed over Newell (Newell, SD), 58-49, in a non-league contest.
