Nebraska High School Basketball - Grand Island overwhelmed by Omaha Northwest

The Grand Island Islanders basketball team (Grand Island, NE), was overwhelmed 64-38 in Saturday's league battle with the host Omaha Northwest Huskies (Omaha, NE)

The Huskies now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gretna for a A District TBD battle on Tuesday, January 30. Omaha Northwest will confront a Dragons team coming off a 58-43 league loss to Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 4-12.

The Islanders (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Spartans come into the A District TBD battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Lincoln East trounced Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE), 70-66, in a league battle.
