Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield topped by Green Run

January 27, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23453

The Green Run Stallions basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies to 30 in the Stallions non-league victory on Saturday.

The Stallions now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princess Anne for a Beach contest on Wednesday, January 31. Green Run will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 84-20 league win over Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-2.

The Grizzlies (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Tallwood dropped by Salem (Virginia Beach, VA), 62-10, in a league contest.
