Kansas High School Basketball - Halstead winner over Valley Center

The Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) basketball felled the visiting Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), 36-25 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Dragons (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Pratt (Pratt, KS). The Greenbacks go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Pratt thwarted Nickerson (Nickerson, KS), 33-30, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Andover Central for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest on Tuesday, January 30. Valley Center will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-7.
