Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 39-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Henry-Senachwine upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Mallards travel to Putnam County (Granville, IL) to play the Panthers in a Tri-County bout on Thursday, February 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-9. Putnam County lost 43-40 in their recent league bout against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)

Next up, the Rebels play the Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Monday, January 29. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 19-5 record after their 67-33 league win over Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL).
