Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet West knocked off by Normal Community

The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Joliet West Tigers to 49 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Ironmen now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manual for a Big Twelve contest on Monday, January 29. Normal Community will battle a Rams team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Rams record now stands at 7-16.

The Tigers (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars enter the SouthWest Prairie - East contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, Plainfield South ran past Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 68-43, in a non-league contest.
