The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Lost River Raiders to 48 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade Christian for a 3A Far West contest on Tuesday, January 30. Rogue River will meet a Challengers team coming off a 54-15 league win over Douglas (Winston, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 13-6.

The Raiders (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Chiloquin (Chiloquin, OR). The Panthers/Queens enter the 1A Mountain Valley contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Chiloquin nudged Central Christian (Redmond, OR), 48-20, in a league contest.
