The Northwest Grizzlies basketball team (Wichita, KS), was overwhelmed 54-28 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS)

The Indians now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Manhattan will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 61-34 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-1.

The Grizzlies (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against North (Wichita, KS). The RedHawks come into the non-league battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, North was overwhelmed by Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS), 58-43, in a non-league battle.
