The St. Marys Bears basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Marysville Bulldogs to 42 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manhattan Catholic for a Central Prairie contest on Tuesday, January 30. St. Marys will meet a Hawks team coming off a 59-17 league win over Manhattan Eagles (Manhattan, KS). The Hawks record now stands at 6-2.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Riley County (Riley, KS). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Riley County was outscored by Wabaunsee (Alma, KS), 39-37, in a non-league contest.
