South Dakota High School Basketball - Northwestern Area topples Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) basketball squad beat the host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), by a margin of 59-48.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights go into the B Region 1 outing with a 2-10 record.

The Battlers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lyman for a B Region 6 outing on Monday, January 29. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 61-58 non-league loss to Wall (Wall, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 12-1.
