Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Winchester Thurston can't hold off Obama Academy of International Studies

The Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Winchester Thurston to 47 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brashear for a Pittsburgh City contest on Monday, January 29. Obama Academy of International Studies will battle a Bulls team coming off a 76-29 league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulls record now stands at 7-7.
The (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen come into the WPIAL 2A 3 contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Steel Valley was nudged by Clairton (Clairton, PA), 82-32, in a league contest.
