Durango Demons (Durango, CO) fans left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 5-0 in a non-league match.

The Demons (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Huskies enter the 4A Mountain match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Battle Mountain was trounced by Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 2-1, in a league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a 4A North match, on Saturday, February 3. Mullen will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record.
