Cardinal Hayes Cardinals (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), 72-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cardinal Hayes upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cardinals host Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Rams play the Regis Raiders (New York, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Fordham Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
